Tecnique: Yica Stitch - Yica-n'otsan tateho — "to weave in the shape of an eye". Ancient technique of the Wichí community.

Each stitch is meticulously handcrafted using a needle and a thorn, forming an intricate pattern that mirrors the delicate shape of an eye. 

Deep in the Argentine Gran Chaco region, the Wichí women are the keepers of an ancestral craft. With their own hands, they harvest the finest fibers of the chaguar. Each fiber is hand-spun, naturally dyed, and woven with extraordinary precision. The secrets of every stitch and pattern are whispered from mother to daughter across generations, ensuring that no two pieces are ever alike.
